GEORGE WEISSBORTGeorge Weissbort was born in Brussels in 1928 and five years later the family moved to London. He attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts. He has had various one man shows and his work has been shown in a number of galleries. His paintings were hung in the R.A. every year until they abandoned tradition and has exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, selling in Sotheby's and Christies.He now lives in the peaceful Wye Valley with his artist wife. |
