ANEURIN JONESBorn in a rural community on the border of the old counties of Brecon and Carmarthen. He studied fine art at Swansea College of Art from 1950 to 1955. He then spent two years with Celtic Studios, designing stained glass windows for churches in Britain, Canada and the United States. He was head of the Art Department at Ysgol Y Preseli from when it opened in September 1958 until July 1986. He is a regular exhibitor at the National Eisteddfod. In 1978 he received a Rotary Award for outstanding service to Art. His work was also included in a book based on the work of fifteen Welsh Artists in 1983.Studied at The Swansea College of Art Designing stained glass windows at The Celtic Studios, Swansea Head of Art Ysgol Y Preseli Pembrokeshire public commissions - including The Owain Glyndwr mural at Pennal.
